Copying resources

How to copy →resources onto the system clipboard:

1. Select the resources that you want to copy.

2. In menu Edit or from the context menu of the resource, select Copy.

Once objects/folders has been copied, you can paste them into e.g. the same project or another project.

You can copy and paste resources by holding the Ctrl-key while dragging the resources from the original location to the new location within the view. At the new location, you must release the Ctrl-key. This copying and pasting is done by dragging and dropping.

Unexpected result when copying/pasting an FBD-object by dragging and dropping in versions < 3.2.0 If you copy and paste a resource, such as an FBS-/ST-object, by dragging and dropping in a Neuron Power Engineer version < 3.2.0, name conflicts will occur after pasting. If you change the name of the pasted FBD-POU, there are unexpected results. Details: See "Unexpected result when copying an FBD-object in the project explorer by dragging and dropping".

Do not copy projects If you need to have a project in different Neuron Power Engineer-versions, Neuron recommends importing the project (instead of copying it). Moreover, observe the restrictions/recommendations for the workspace per started version.
